France defeated Australia yesterday to win the 2015 Busan Women’s World Match Race, which began on October 27.
Korean sailor Choi Seong-eun won a preliminary round race against a competitor from the United States, the first time a Korean has advanced at the competition.
The competition, the only Grade A race in Asia authorized by the International Sailing Federation, finished its ninth edition successfully, with organizers saying that it will lead to the expansion of sailing in Asia.
